Ultra Tech Comfort Alert Diagnostic Module

Comfort Alert is a breakthrough innovation for troubleshooting heat pump and air conditioning system failures. The module easily installs in the electrical box of the outdoor unit near the compressor contactor. By monitoring and analyzing data from the Copeland Scroll compressor and the thermostat demand, Comfort Alert can accurately detect the cause of electrical and system-related failures without any sensors.

A flashing LED indicator communicates the ALERT code and guides the service technician more quickly and accurately to the root cause of a problem. The Comfort Alert module is also compatible with all Emerson branded thermostats of the 1F9X and 1F8X families that offer a diagnostic “L” terminal connection. For better protection, the 1F9X/1F8X “CA” model thermostats will flash Comfort Alert codes on their display and allow active protection that turns off the compressor if a potentially harmful fault code is detected.
